Treasure Island Bridge
This four lane four leaf bascule bridge located in Treasure Island, Florida is a shinning example of EHM total system integration. EHM provided a state of the art PLC controlled operating system, Fiber optic multiplexers, CCTV systems, bridge communications systems, four 100HP hydraulic drive systems, four 7.5HP span lock hydraulic power units, and installation of a massive stainless steel hydraulic piping system. The EHM team built the control and hydraulic systems then pre-fabricated all hydraulic piping in the shop. Once completed, we delivered and installed all equipment at the site. EHM provided a turnkey system including final commissioning integrating all drives into a complete movable bridge operating system. This entire drawbridge project was completed by EHM “On Time and On Budget” from 2006 -2008.
