Great Bridge

This new rolling lift bascule bridge replaced an old swing bridge in Great Bridge Virginia.  EHM provided a new PLC controlled operating system and two 900HP hydraulic drive systems.  The EHM team prefabricated all hydraulic piping in the shop. Once delivered to the site, EHM assembled the piping to the hydraulic systems. A turnkey drive system was the end result once EHM performed the final commissioning of the PLC control integrated hydraulic drive systems. The system has been running without a single down day ever since. This entire drawbridge drive project was completed by EHM “On Time and On Budget”.
