Curtis Creek Bridge

The EHM team worked night and day to install four new lock bar systems at the Curtis Creek Bridge in 2012. This bridge is a four leaf bascule bridge that carries Interstate I-695 traffic through Baltimore Maryland. Shimming the live load shoes, span locks, and tail locks to exacting tolerances while maintaining daily traffic on this important highway was no easy challenge.
